Based in Ballymahon Co. Longford, on the river Inny, Inny kayakers are drawn from a large catchment of local paddlers. The Inny provides a 4km stretch of prime paddling real estate with rapids containing some pour-over’s, stoppers, holes and standing waves. It is the only stretch of water of this type in the midlands area. It provides the perfect run for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. The Inny kayakers association pride themselves on promoting safe paddling in line with the governing bod (Canoeing Ireland) safety guidelines and training structure. Trips away are plenty!
